Erie County Water Authority Launches New Website

Posted May 23, 2019

BUFFALO, NY – The Erie County Water Authority (ECWA) has launched its new website. The site, created by Ingenious, Inc., marks the first major website redesign for the ECWA in nearly a decade.

The new website gives visitors a more user-friendly experience with a better organized menu for easier site navigation as well as an improved customer portal and expanded educational resources.

“Providing our customers with the highest quality service is paramount to the ECWA, which is why we felt it was important to develop a more customer friendly, informative website,” said ECWA Chairman Jerome Schad. “This new website provides a one stop shop for customers to easily access their accounts, pay bills, become more educated about the drinking water that we provide to their homes as well as makes it easier for vendors who do business with the ECWA.”

To coincide with the launch of the new website, ECWA also announced it has begun livestreaming its board meetings. The livestream can be found at ECWA.org on the “Board Meetings” page, where a complete schedule of upcoming meetings is also available. Customers who miss the livestream will still be able to view the video feed of past meetings that will be archived on the website.

“Livestreaming our board meetings is an efficient way for customers to stay informed of our operations and decisions that may impact them and just another step in our continued efforts to make the ECWA more transparent and accountable to our ratepayers,” said Schad.
