As a result of our state-of-the-art cyber security measures and constant monitoring, Erie County Water Authority (ECWA) was recently alerted about what appears to be a suspicious web site domain registration that looks very similar to ecwa.org, but misspelled.
ECWA does NOT email customers to request account passwords or other personal information. If you do receive what looks to be a legitimate email to this effect from a similar domain, please do not respond and immediately call ECWA Customer Service at (716) 849-8484.
ECWA is confident in its cyber security systems and procedures and will continue to monitor this matter in order to keep our customers fully informed.
