World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance focusing on the importance of freshwater in our daily lives. ECWA works tirelessly 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to provide our 550,000 consumers throughout WNY safe, high-quality drinking water.
Except for the air we breathe, water is our most precious natural resource. Unfortunately, too many communities around the world do not have access to clean, safe drinking water. Today, please take a moment to remember the importance of World Water Day and its efforts to raise awareness about the plight of the global water crisis.
